My Yoga Classes in and around London

Yoga is an infinite journey

Regularly practising yoga has many benefits from increased focus to a better body connection and compassion towards yourself and others. We all benefit differently from yoga in our own way and in our own time.
I am passionate about helping people to find a practice to suit their needs whether it is dynamic, upside down, deeply relaxing or therapeutic.
Have a look at the classes I teach throughout the week to see what works for you and what you need.

My approach is based in acceptance of your own physical boundaries, enhanced self compassion and self-belief and working with your inherent tools such as breath, nervoussystem regulation and the exploration of the mind through meditation.

Lastly, understanding the complexity of being human-What a joy that is! And of course humour plays a big role too.

Aerial Yoga (Hammock) & Fly High Yoga (Belt)

Aerial yoga is a young and hybrid type of yoga combining traditional yoga poses, Pilates and dance with the use of a hammock.

By facilitating bending and stretching of the whole body during exercise, muscles and joints will be strengthened and rehabilitated, and the spine decompressed as the body hangs freely. Yoga in general, and aerial yoga in particular, is promoted as benefiting emotional, psychological and spiritual health.

Last but not least Aerial Yoga is a lot of FUN! It will bring your practise and self confidence to the next level and unleash your inner child!

Specific participation conditions apply.

Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced and therapeutic style of yoga, incorporating principles of traditional Chinese medicine and acupressure points. With shapes that are held for longer periods of time in seated or supine positions followed by a nourishing rebound to promote an unimpeded flow of energy or Qi.

As opposed to Yang practises like Vinyasa or other fast paced styles, Yin Yoga is aiming at the connective tissue, meridians, fascia, joints and organs, promoting joint health, flexibility and mobility. Be ready to go into a deep introspective and mindfulness journey and rebalance your Yin and Yang.

Yoga Nidra is commonly known as the yogic sleep and a deep, powerful meditation that doesn't require any physical activity. The practitioners rest in Savasana (laying on their backs) whilst listening to the teacher guiding them into deep rest, typically through the 5 layers- also known as koshas. The practitioner is encouraged to stay present and mentally alert to become the observer of bodily sensations whilst cultivating a deeper relaxation and sense of awareness.  Yoga Nidra can have plenty of benefits such as stress reduction, better sleep quality, a better sense of self, altering deeply seated habits and core beliefs, better mental clarity and bringing body and mind into a sense of balance and homeostasis.

"Hot Yin": Fridays at 6 pm UK time hosted by theLodge.space Southwark London (Temperature is around 26 degrees)

Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra: Fridays at 7.15 pm hosted by theLodge.space, Southwark London

I also offer monthly workshops in collaboration with other instructors and therapists to spread the healing power of yin.

Accessible Chair Yoga/ Office Yoga

Yoga can be performed anywhere and any time, on the mat, in the air, on a chair.

Moreover, everybody has a yoga body and needs some calmness and movement in their life. Chair yoga is an ideal exercise not only for people over a certain age who have trouble moving through the up and down motions of traditional yoga but also for the people working in offcies who are looking for the "quick fix" in their lunch break and who don't have time to visit a class and hop in their workout gear.

Office chair yoga can be performed online and does not require to be in person.

Accessible Chair Yoga (for injured or elderly) is hosted by the Lodge Space, London every Monday 1:30pm, donation based.

I am aiming at donation the money to different charities every month, such as BOS Orang-Utan sanctuary, Sea Shepperd, Oxfam or charities throughout Asia benefiting wild life and humanity.

Please let me know if there is a charity you would like to support and we can have a chat.
